In January 2009, Stefany Schade founded TorOso Financial Group with a simple but powerful belief: financial advisors do their best work when they have the right support behind them. 

After years working in the financial industry and witnessing firsthand how advisors were treated — like numbers, not people — Stefany set out to build something different. Something rooted in genuine care, deep expertise, and a commitment to doing things the right way. 

Today, TorOso is a nationally recognized Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction headquartered in Corpus Christi, Texas, supporting experienced financial professionals across all 50 states through our partnership with Independent Financial Group (IFG). 

But the mission hasn’t changed: people first, always. 

Her approach is anything but bureaucratic. Stefany believes compliance should be practical, common-sense, and advisor-focused — not a barrier to doing good business. She works alongside her team to ensure every advisor in the TorOso network feels supported, informed, and empowered. 

Outside the office, Stefany is deeply committed to her community and the financial industry at large. From industry conferences to local involvement in Corpus Christi, she leads by example — showing that success and service go hand in hand. 

Stefany is very passionate about the empowerment of young professionals and women in our community.  She has been part of the Junior League of Corpus Christi since 2011 and has served as a Past President.  She has also been part of Goodwill Industries of South Texas since 2013, is a past Board Chair and is  passionate about helping people regain their independence and dignity through work.  She serves on a national financial committee and is active in her local church. Stefany is also a past CC Under 40 recipient, has served in Leadership Corpus Christ Class XL (40) and has been a member of many Boards over the years.  Making an impact is her personal mantra.
